GCSE Results 2026

We were delighted to celebrate another outstanding set of GCSE results today at school; indeed, the 2026 outcomes are the best results the School has ever achieved at GCSE in relation to the percentage of grades achieved at grade 9, and at grades 9-8 and 9-7.  Nearly a quarter of all grades were awarded at grade 9 and almost half at grades 9-8. My congratulations to all our year 11 students on their well deserved success, and to the staff at Crypt for their support of this outstanding cohort of students.  
119 students each gained five or more passes at grades 9 to 7 or equivalent; 43 each gained nine or more passes all at grades 9 to 7; 100% of students gained five or more GCSE passes at grades 4 or above and on average, students gained 9 GCSE passes (at grade 4 or above).

Particular congratulations go to Anna, Kristofer, Madelaine, Tomasz, Lannah, Ethan, Neeharika, Gabriella and Evelyn, who achieved all grades 9-8 in their exams, and Maxwell who achieved an outstanding 10 grade 9s. However, my congratulations to all of our students on their own individual successes at GCSE.

Students at the school worked extremely hard over their two years of GCSE studies, supported by their outstanding subject teachers and other professional support staff.  My thanks must go to my colleagues for all their hard work in helping support our students to achieve so highly.  We now look forward to supporting these and other students to make even more progress in both their academic studies and in their own personal development in our outstanding sixth form.
