It is with great pride that everyone at Crypt offers their congratulations to our Year 13 students on their exceptional A Level results which were published earlier today. A record 75% of grades were awarded at A*-B, with almost half of all grades awarded at A*- A. These exceptional outcomes are once again an increase on those achieved last year, with an almost 100% A level pass rate.
60% of our Year 13 students gained at least one grade A*/A pass, with almost 40% gaining two or more grade A*/A passes including 45 students who each gained three or more A*/A grades. Particular congratulations go to Jake Dee, Lucy Hutchinson and Sam Turner who all achieved 3 A*s and Elijah Kowalewicz and Liam Page, who both achieved a remarkable 4A*s; however, very well done to all our former year 13 students on their results, which reflect the dedication they have demonstrated throughout their studies and the determined support they received across their two years in the sixth form from our outstanding teachers, professional support staff, and from each student's family at home.
I was also delighted to see all our year 13 students progress onto their chosen post-18 destinations, which included university and further study for many; degree and other apprenticeships with local and national companies, and travel, work abroad and employment for others. We offer all our leavers, whatever their destinations, every best wishes for their futures, and ask that they keep in touch with the school through the school's Linkedin page and through the Crypt Alumni network as well.
