Y7 September 2026 Entry

After a place has been allocated to a child on National Allocation Day : 2nd March 2026 all parents/carers have the statutory right to appeal for a place at another school, or schools.  

Deadline dates for The Crypt School  

Closing date to submit an appeal form : 3.00 p.m. on Wednesday 22nd April

Closing date to provide supporting documents : Noon on Friday 24th April

Group Appeal : 6.00 p.m. on Wednesday 29th April

Appeal Dates : 5th - 8th, and 11th - 15th May 

Parents/carers will be requested to provide evidence to support their child's appeal, such as: most recent reports, KS1 results, mock and predicted KS2 results, CATs scores (if taken). 

Appeals are heard by a panel independent of the School and the Local Authority and will balance the School's case against the case brought by parents/carers.

Sixth Form Appeals

GCSE Results / Sixth Form Enrolment : Thursday 20th August

Closing date to submit an appeal form : noon on Wednesday 2nd September 

Appeals will be heard shortly thereafter
