Open Events

Our Open Events are always very popular and booking a place is required. Please find more information about our upcoming Open Events below including how to book your place.

We hold several Open Events throughout the year to give parents and their children the opportunity to explore our facilities, meet current students, staff and the Headmaster as well as experiencing all aspects of school life including academic, pastoral and extra-curricular. Open Events are held in October, March and June, with our Sixth Form Open Evening taking place in November.

Sixth Form Open Event Thursday 5th November 2026 - Booking Now Open

An opportunity for students and their parents/carers considering options after Year 11 to find out more about studying with us.

During the evening, students and their families will be able to hear from our Head of Sixth Form, tour the school, visit departments and find out more about the A level subjects we offer. They will also have the opportunity to meet teaching staff and current Sixth Form students and learn more about Sixth Form life, pastoral support and enrichment at The Crypt.

There are two sessions available and the evening will finish at 8pm:

Session 1
5.30pm – Visit Departments
6.15pm – Main Hall Talk

Session 2
6.15pm – Visit Departments
7.00pm – Main Hall Talk

Main School Open Mornings – 17, 18 and 19 March 2027

Our next open mornings will take place on Wednesday 17, Thursday 18 and Friday 19 March 2027, with each session starting at 9.15am. Booking will open here on 10 February 2027.

Join us to hear from our Headmaster and current pupils, followed by a tour led by our Year 7 pupils, giving you the opportunity to see the school during a normal school day.

Please bear in mind that registration for the entrance test for Year 7 entry in September 2028 closes at 12 noon on Friday 19 March 2027, the day of our final open morning. If you are attending that morning, please register for the test beforehand so you don’t miss the deadline.
