KS5 (Sixth Form)

The Sixth Form focus their studies on a smaller number of subjects at greater depth. They will study up to four A Level subjects and combine an enjoyment of academic study with a curriculum that grants time to allow all students to prepare for university study, highly regarded apprenticeship programmes and the wider world.

All students will also follow a bespoke course encompassing social, moral, spiritual and cultural themes. Our enrichment programme gives students the chance to develop other useful life skills.  The curriculum is designed to enable all students to make a successful transition to a more adult learning environment where students increasingly take charge of their own learning and development.

Subjects choices include Art, Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Core Maths, Drama, DT, Economics, English Language, English Literature, EPQ, French, Maths, Games, Geography, German, History, Maths, Music, Physics, Philosophy & Ethics,  Psychology, Government & Politics, Sociology, Spanish, Sports Science. All students will take enrichment sessions, including games and personal development.

We endeavour to maintain as broad a curriculum as possible, however on occasion, subjects may be withdrawn from the curriculum if there is not enough student demand.

"Pupils, of all ages, make a significant contribution to the life of the school."
