Charity

At the centre of school life is a powerful sense of community which is often expressed through a wonderfully generous commitment that many of our pupils and staff make towards charity; that commitment is often witnessed through the raising of money for particular causes, be those our regular cake sales and non-uniform days, as well as  other sponsored activities and volunteering.

One of the highlights of the 2023/2024 academic year was the Miles for Miles Challenge where the whole school community got involved and raised an incredible £18,000 for Cobalt Imaging and Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Charity - smashing the original target of £10,000!

Events

Throughout the academic year, we support numerous ‘National’ Charity Days including Children in Need, Macmillan Coffee Morning, Sport Relief and Comic Relief. We also recognise the importance and pride in supporting smaller, local charities including Gloucestershire Young Carers, Maggie’s Cancer Centre in Cheltenham and The James Hopkins Trust to name a few, raising money through often student organised bake sales and non-uniform days.
