The school is celebrating another very good set of A level results.  Our three students with Oxbridge offers secured their places, congratulations to Jack Hibberd: A* A* A A; Jon Madigan: A* A* A A; and Adam Gibbons:  A* A A.  Congratulations also go to all of our students who secured their university places; and also to those who have secured apprenticeships, an increasingly popular option in the current climate.  Other top performers include:  Nick Jones:  A* A A A; George Hawker Bond: A* A A A B; Tom Bendall: A* A A B; Mate Hegedus:  A* A A; Sean Jarrett:  A* A A B; Emma Greenwood: A* A A B; Ben Gribble:  A A A, and there were many others with A* and A grades.

Results for 2014 look extremely promising, with our year 12 students securing a record set of AS results.  The percentage of top A and B grades was 9% higher than the previous record, which in itself is a fantastic result, but even more so in these times with pressure on exam boards to ensure marking standards are toughened up.  Congratulations to our top performers:  Daniel Charlton:  A A A A; Elizabeth Edmonds: A A A A; Cameron Fern:  A A A A; James Fleming: A A A A; Brad Gregory: A A A A; Callum Hall: A A A A; Jack McLaren: A A A A; Robert Norman: A A A A; Josh Winkley: A A A A; Charlie Hammond: A A A B; Rhys Jones: A A A B; Jacob Lange: A A A B; Sophie Smith: A A A B; Callum Webb A A A B.  Again many other students secured two A grades and two B grades in their AS levels, and congratulations to them and indeed to all who have done well in meeting their target grades.
