GirlsGetSET competition

GirlsGetSET competition

Congratulations to our GirlsGetSET team who achieved second place in the Year 12 Robot Olympics event. The GirlsGetSET scheme is run by GE and is designed to encourage girls into taking STEM subjects due to only 20% of A-Level physics students being girls and with the UK having the lowest number of women in professional engineering positions (10%).

A write-up of the event by team manager, Maddie Hodges, will appear here shortly.
