Since 2011 over 5 Million pounds has been invested into the school site significantly enhancing both the physical and learning environment for our pupils.

Complementing earlier developments, which included the building of a new Sixth Form centre, sports hall and ICT block, recent improvements have included: the conversion of the School's Old Gym into a new drama and activity space and a new fitness suite; the complete redevelopment of the school drive and other hard surface areas; an upgrade of the school Music rooms and the girls' changing rooms. In 2012-13, nearly one million pounds was also spent on renewing the school roofs and internal ceilings.

Thanks to the CSA, we are also able to create a covered eating area for pupils to sit outside at lunch and break time.

We have just completed the building of a £1.8M Engineering block housing 5 Maths classrooms, 2 Physics labs and and Engineering & Robotics room. Visit this page to see some photos

Currently we are completely refurbishing the sports hall and building a new classroom and toilet block next to the sports hall.  The new classroom block will house two sports science and one psychology classroom.  The total cost of this development is around 1 million pounds.

In the summer of 2017 we aim to build a new sports pavilion that will contain two changing rooms and a function space.
