Early on Tuesday 20th October, a group of Year 9 students departed for a fun packed 4-day trip to Cologne, Germany.
During the trip, the boys visited the famous Deutsches Eck, had a boat cruise on the Rhine, visited the picturesque town of Cochem and took a trip on the world’s oldest working monorail in Wuppertal. There was also a very enjoyable guided tour of a local wine cellar and castle, as well as a visit to Cologne cathedral and the Sportmuseum. Pupils also utilised their language skills to order their own “Kaffee und Kuchen” in a traditional German café.
