The Crypt School came top in the Daily Telegraph leagues table of 2012 GCSE results for schools in Gloucestershire.  100% of students taking GCSE exams last summer achieved the government’s benchmark of 5 A*-C grades, including English and Maths.  Overall, the School came 59th in the country for its GCSE scores.

Headmaster, Jonathan Standen said: ‘I am absolutely delighted by this fantastic news.  The boys who sat their GCSE exams last summer worked tremendously hard; as did their teachers, to achieve these results.  To be ranked in the top 100 school in the country for GCSE success is a tribute to the hard work of so many people at this school – staff, students and their parents’.
