GCSE Results 2016

The Crypt School has recorded a very pleasing set of GCSE results. 71% of grades were awarded either an A*, A or B, with 40% of grades at the top A*-A level.  50% of students gained 5 or more A*-A grade passes.

The top performing students were Callum Brignall 11A*, 1 A; Nathan Browne 9 A*, 3A; Austen Tulodziecki  8A*, 3A, 1B; Ashal Sahu 7A*, 4A, 1B; Jack Greening, 7A*, 3A, 1B and William Helmke 7A*, 3A, 1B.

The Headmaster, Nicholas Dyer was pleased with the results, commenting: “These are very good results, particularly in light of downward pressure on top grades in this summer’s examinations. Our Year 11 students should be very proud of their achievements and of course, these results are a product of the sheer hard work of staff at the school, allied to the exceptional efforts of our students.”
