National Citizen Service is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 16-17 year olds. This action packed 4 week adventure helps you discover your potential, build skills for your future and make your mark on your community. NCS counts towards Duke of Edinburgh, UCAS applications, AQA Baccalaureate, job interviews, Apprenticeships and so much more. See


NCS runs Monday to Friday for 4 consecutive weeks.


Phase 1

An outdoor activity residential designed to challenge, build confidence and develop your  team skills.


Phase 2

A local residential/experience to explore and develop the skills needed to make a difference in you and your community.


Phase 3

Working with community and business leaders to design and plan your own project.


Phase 4

Celebrate your NCS journey in style at the NCS Graduation Event! As a graduate you will join over 129,000 other NCS Graduates from across the nation, this gives you a VIP pass to endless opportunities.

NCS is government backed which means you get to take part in NCS for just £50 or free if you are eligible for free school meals, pupil premium or have financial difficulties, (every case considered).
