Beyond the formal school curriulum, where all pupils will study Art in KS3 with many opting to study it at both KS4 & 5, pupils enjoy developing their artisic skills further.
Pupils develop their own techniques and art work is displayed throughout the school. Students have the opportunity to work with practising artists. Art work was displayed both in school and outside. Evidence of this can be found in Gloucester Railway Station. An on school site mosaic adorns the outside of the Food Technology room with textile responses to cells to be seen in the science department. Lunchtime clubs serve to stimulate ideas and develop talent and a number of students progress each year to art and design courses at universities and art colleges.
